I'll just repost what I already put in the third party hardware section:

Control4 has finished its Avocation Systems driver. The driver will work for any Peak Series audio video matrix. Some of Avocation's features are:

* 100% money back guarantee. Try it, if you're not completely satisfied, send it back for a full refund.

* A VERY cost competitive solution for a matrix that's guaranteed to satisfy....EVERY time!

* Peak Series ranges from 4x4-16x16 and can be bought in video only, audio only, or audio and video formats.

* Units with audio have both analog and digital (coax) styles.

* Output volume control.

* Input gain control.

* Bi-directional RS-232 for optimum control that's easy to implement with your C4 installs.

* We back up our promises with a 10-year warranty!

* Our products are made in the U.S.A.

We're extremely confident in our products and show it in the promises we make. We use broadcast quality components in what we sell and guarantee the quality of video you get out of our matrices will match what you put into it. Feel free to visit our site or give us a call for more info.

I am using https://www.audioauthority.com/indexh.php?ret=https://www.audioauthority.com/index.php?p=productMore&iProduct=45 with my control4 system for video switching. It works great and is highly expandable.

Which audio authority switch are you using. I was just catching up on their product offerings and the avx-562 caught my eye. I was wondering if they have a model where the IR distribution is flipped to transmit to the zone instead of receive from the zone ?

I'm also using the Audio Authority Video Switching for 13 video zones (using expansion pieces) and it has been very solid. I'm using the AVAMatrix product line.

I have the first generation vs the newer 562 line but these guys are really a commercial solution that distribute signals to hundreds of video zones so a residential installation is pretty simplistic for them.

I have a RS-232 driver that has expansion zones so if you do go this route, let me know and I'll send you a copy.

Yeah, what he said. ;) The injector model that I gave you works very well. Just make sure you have plenty of 3.5mm Mono to 3.5mm mono cables to wire from the controller to the 1109.

I've used both the AA piece and the NeoPro Concord. Personally, I'd rather have the Concord. Both are very reliable.
