Current functions:
play
pause
stop
skip forward
skip back
scan forward
scan back
enter

menu / this button is for dvd top menus and bluray full menu's
info / this button is for disc info on dvd, and niveus info on bluray
Record / this function can be enabled on request if a tv tuner is present in
a niveus n7 / currently this is an emergency resync button to
niveus control server. if no tv tuner is present DO NOT request

this feature as it takes you to an error screen.

Hi Joe,

Given that the Niveus is just a media center PC, can I use it with my S1Digital media center also? Also, are there plans for two way control?

This driver only works with Niveus' control center service.

Yes, there are plans for allowing for metadata/cover art import and control. No ETA just yet.

Just curious, have you guys seen any demand for a Niveus driver? If I remember correctly you developed it for a specific job, just curious if other people are integrating them as well.

we have had request for this driver, and niveus is gaining some traction because of their bluray support. the driver in itself is much faster that using an ir emitter, and we have actually made the driver to where it actually tracks the button presses on the remote, it even see's when you are pressing watch or listen "which we will base some functionality off of".

Joe. Do you need a n7 for this record function? Could the driver be adapted to control a tuner plugged into a Niveus Zone? Thx.

hmm, actually yes this could be easily done. when record is pressed on any niveus device as long as a tuner is present it will not show the error and continue as normal.
