Hello all! Silly question, I guess. I have two square dual load wireless switches. Manual says, by default its keys work as toggle switches: half for the load 1 and another half for the load 2. Buttons are set up in the composer for different functions, both keypads are in the network and online. System reacts for button pressings accordingly. However it continues to toggle both loads as it's still in standalone mode. For example, load 1 is connected to blinds motor and button 1 controls the light, which is controlled by 8-ch relay switch somewhere in the system . I'm looking to power a 220 volt waterfall pump through a Control4 or C4 compatible relay switch. I see such a relay switch for 110 volts, but any recommendations for a 220 volt one?

I have had my C4 audio Matrix for a while and recently it stopped working. I contacted my dealer who then rang C4 and they said they wont repair it, but they did say we are pretty sure its the Power Supply that is causing the issue. I live in London UK, does anyone know who can fix this for me or where can I get the part for it? Any help or guidance would be appreciated as I don't want to spend another coupe of thousand pounds in getting a new one, cant afford it right now.

I got my new Halo Touch today and got it into my system. I seem to be having a couple problems that I would love some help with. I have a "Watch" activity that turns on the projector, AVR, and Zidoo. When using the C4 app on my ipad and clicking on Watch Zidoo everything powers up. However when I use the Halo to power on that Activity everything powers on except for the Zidoo. So that is problem #1. Problem #2 Once I get the Watch Zidoo activity all turned on I can use the Halo Touch to browse and control the zidoo with no problems, well that is until a movie is playing. client called me today about receiving no music from his c4 installation. so i checked the audiomatrix and so on, but i did not found any problem. i checked the Core 5 output properties and figured out that all digital outputs have been set to "volume:0", but i don´t understand how that have been changed. There are no room control outputs from the core5 (AUDIO_VOLUME). So why does the core5 change the outputs from 100 to 0 by itself? Did anyone had this behavior aswell?

For some unmknown reason Araknis seems to have a very poor selection of VPNs in its settings: Open VPN - This is secure but requires third party software to be installed. Mac, IOS and Windows do not support it with their built in VPN client IPSec - This is only for router to router connections, not mobile user to router PPTP - This is highly insecure and is similar to using WEP for WiFi. Mac and IOS do not even support it anymore due to its dreadful security. https://www.ovpn.com/en/blog/pptp-has-become-obsolete. C4-NWB57C-P in wall new construction back box were installed 11 years ago for C4-TW7C0-BL touch screens. When changing out to the current T4 8" screens, the included long screens (1 1/2") with the T4 hardware are too short (appears that back box was roughed in too deep during construction) to secure the T4 mid box to the back box. Does anyone know the screw type? Lowes hardware employee pointed out that the thread on the T4 screws alternate between course and fine, and he felt I needed M3 x 50 mm screws.

Has anyone replaced the portable T3 screen battery? Mine lasts for about 3 mins off the charger and then just dropd dead to black.

I'm curious what the DECORA 0-10V DIMMER C4-TV120277 would be used for. Could this be used for traditional lighting (ie 3 ceiling can lights using LED bulbs that draw 10w) or would it not work for this application as a typical dimmer would be used?

A few weeks ago, the Control4 SSL certificate on our Pakedge router renewed itself. We noticed some minor problems around that time but did not debug. Today I finally dug into it, and realized that the certificate has an issue. When I tried to connect to the web ui, Edge and Chrome gave: ERR_SSL_KEY_USAGE_INCOMPATIBLE Apparently the cause is as follows: I was able to work around it on the web ui (on my desktop at least) with the solution here, though I don't love weakening the security that way. However, the VPN server still does not work, and the logs show that TLS negotiation is failing. I suspect this problem also plays a role in the wireless thermos…

I have just added a second hand Triad AMS 8 V2 and a Triad PAMP100 to my system. Double checked connections with both physical and composer. My EA5 shows red light to start streaming, the AMS active light changes colour to a white, but I cannot get the PAMP100 to change from the one blue power light. I have tried with 12v trigger from AMS and permanently on, powering off for each change. No other lights come on other than the one blue one, nor are there any fans on. Do the fans run all the time, or just when hot? Just looks up that the PSU it not that great and they are nearly £200, so I was hoping to make sure it's the PSU before I waste money. Are the Z2iR ZigBee-to-IR modules still sold? I was able to buy online myself in the past, but can’t locate any. I don’t have a local dealer any more, but looking for an online dealer or seller who could help me get ahold of 3 or 4 of them.

Every few minutes my firewall blocks two packets that my Control4 controller sends to link-local address 169.254.169.254, port 80. Inspecting the packets, they have a destination MAC address starting with 00:e0:67 which corresponds to "eac AUTOMATION-CONSULTING GmbH". The packets tend to go out seven minutes apart, but sometimes the gap is shorter, as you can see from the timestamps in the attached screenshot. You can also see that the controller is incrementing the source port by 2 each time it sends a packet. My firewall (pfSense) blocks these packets per a default rule. By blocking these packets, am I preventing the controller from completing some task? M…
