Dune stopped working

I have a Dune media player using the latest version 6 control4 driver and control4 software version 1.8.2. I have been using the Dune without any problems for at least >1year. I have an internal hard drive and an attached usb hard drive which store my movies. I have made no recent changes to my system.

I use both my movies and the c4 GUI( movies, browse) to select movies on my Dune internal hard drive and attached usb hard drive.

I have just noticed that the Dune hard drive and attached usb hard drive do not seem to be accessible via the c4 interface. When I go into composer, it states the internal hard drive and attached usb are "offline".

The devices are not offline as I can go to mymovies and play a movie normally. I can go to any of my networked computers and access the dune drives.

There seems to only be an issue with c4 accessing these drives.

Can anybody tell me what is going on????

Curious, any reason that you're on 1.8.2 outside of software license cost?

Guess I should have tried this first...

Rebooted, controllers, switches, router and working fine.

Glad to hear it's working. Isn't it scary how everything in life needs to be "rebooted" to keep it working as it should? Everything...

UNfortunately same behavior has returned less than 24 hours after re-booting.

It seems to me like it is a networking issue, like there is something not allowing the director to see the drives....

Hopefully someone else has seen this behavior before and can tell me how to fix...I've gotten used to using the c4 gui which has all my dune movies and blu ray discs all on the same screen.
