jeff2908 Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 With 3d pass through. If you are selling one, please let me know. Not looking to spend the 3k on a new one.
carol14 Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 HDMI Matrix over Cat 5 is a single cable operation methodology giving highest possible resolution and highest grade of audio quality. Unmatched technology makes it possible to route high definition audio/video from any of the four HDMI video sources to any of the four remote displays over standard CAT 5 cable. Thanks.

AT 6,999 Euro that far exceeds his "not wanting to spend $3k (USD I assume) on a new one".
jeff2908 Posted October 11, 2012 Author Posted October 11, 2012 Carol14, that unit is 4k ready! That was another concern of mine. It seems the next big push is going to be with 4k technology. But you are correct Dan, bit over the 3k budget.
jeff2908 Posted October 13, 2012 Author Posted October 13, 2012 Ok, investigating 4k. Does anyone else think its wise to get a 3d and 4k x 2 ready matrix?? Ran across this one. Any opinions? http://www.smarthome.com/97670/Vanco-280709-8x8-HDMI-Matrix-with-IR-and-RS232-and-Cat5-Balun-Extender-Output/p.aspx
Cyknight Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Don't know the actual switch but we did end up putting some Vanco stuff on ...trial... on the "boss's" insitance. It never got past trial.
pentium77 Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Cyknight that reminds me back in the day when my boss would hand me something he decided was for trial and tell me it was already sold as a solution and to "make it work". Thankfully I don't have to deal with that anymore.
