turls
Not sure exactly how this would integrate with C4 programming, but there are home automation devices from Belkin that are options on the website. So I thought maybe some C4 programming pros here might find this site interesting if you didn't already know about it.https://ifttt.com/wtf
turls
For example, there is a recipe to "Any check-in on foursquare, then turn off Air Conditioner", using the very basic outlet switch from Belkin. So I could see, something like, any check in to foursquare (besides your house), set the alarm at your house, something like that.
RyanE
I've wondered how to add your own options to IFTTT, but never looked into it far enough to make anything happen.RyanE
digitaltrader
I've got ifttt working using Alan's pop3 driver. You just have whatever event trigger an email sent to your control system which can then trigger any event you want based in the subject variable you specify. RyanE
Be nice to eliminate 'the middle man' and have IFTTT directly trigger programming somehow.RyanE
msgreenf
Bumping this thread to see if anyone has any ideas. IFTTT integration would rock. Use my google calendar to turn on tv for examplecc
