tcnyc Posted November 6, 2007 Share Posted November 6, 2007 After being installed for just over a year the amp is making some funky noises like a struggling cooling fan. Spoke to tech support who admitted this being a common problem and quoted $200 to repair (something about the fan being integrated). slemay Posted November 6, 2007 Share Posted November 6, 2007 v1 AMPS had problems with the fan making loud noises... it was eliminated in v2 and now v3 amps. I'd suggest paying the $200 as I'd "guess" that you'll probably get a v2 amp in replacement. Pretty cheap price to pay for an upgrade! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
