We forgot to wire a wall switch for 3 fireplaces (Heat and Glo). They are operated by a handheld remote. Does anyone know how to integrate these? Can the remote box just be switched out with a card access relay?

You want fireplaces to be as simple as possible to get integration. If you have a remote, you may be out of luck. Maybe somebody who has one will chime in.

Most fireplaces have a place to wire a regular light switch to them. If there is a cat5 or equivalent near the fireplace you can hard wire it back to a c4 unit. If not the card access relay can be placed under the fireplace and wired to the same location on the fireplace.
