Bosch Motion Sensor hardwired to C4 Controller Contact

Hi guys

I should have got this this job by now but after finally hardwiring my garage door to control 4, im looking to put in some hardwired sensors.

My test motion sensor I bought has + and - terminals, which I assume I wire to the +12V and GND terminals of the "contact" on the controller respectively.

The motion sensor has two (2) x NC terminals - where do I wire these to?

edit : found some doco for an extender suggesting that the two NC terminals are wired to SIG and GND on the contact.

Thus the GND is shared for power and detecting motion. - I'll test this.

Thanks Cykinght

you are right on both accounts

1. It did not work.

2. It has 4 wire that need to be connected (albeit with extra wires for optional plug in accessories and Tamper switch)

So to be clear what I did was

Sensor --> Control4 Contact on controller

+ -- > +12V

- -- > GND

NC -- > GND

NC -- > SIG

you propose

+ -- > +12V

- -- > GND

NC -- > +12V (ie change this one wire)

NC -- > SIG

do I need a resistor when using C4 contacts with motion sensors? ( I have not)
