dbuono
I have a single gang box that has two different loads. I would like to know if there are any double dimmers that integrate into c4 that will fit in a single gang box. The box location and framing would make it impossible to put in a double gang box. The wife will also not like two different switches stacked on top of each other. I know lutron makes a basic double dimmer but that alone will not integrate into c4. Any guidance/thoughts would be great.

I'm not an electrician so, let me ask How'd u get 2 loads in a single gang box?, How did it work before? How about the New Gen Keypad dimmer then , just hide the other load/dimmer inside the wall or anywhere else. Not sure if that is up to code, just throwing it out there. Hopefully the above makes sense. I'll clarify if not The New Gen lighting means you'd have to be at version 2.
RyanE
You *cannot* hide a dimmer inside a wall. It has to be inside an actual, approved electrical box, which has to be faced on a wall. The proper way is to pull out the existing single-gang box, and put in a retrofit 2-gang box. Control4 doesn't have any two-load in a single gang type devices. I don't know of *any* controllable devices that would work in that scenario. As far as how you can get that situation, there are common mechanical switches that have 1/2/3 switches within one gang. I used to have one of these in my previous house, to turn on the fan and fan's lights in the bathroom, with a separate switch to control the bathroom's lights. SMHarman
The heat dissipation requirements make multiple v dimmers in a single gang physically challenging. As others have said you put the actual dinner switches elsewhere and control using a button in the current location. While they have to be exposed on the wall like a breaker box, you could hang a picture over them. Sent from my LT26i using Tapatalk
ILoveC4
If you can't go wider to make them side by side, stack them. That's really your only option if you want then controlled. Sent from my Droid MAXX via Tapatalk.
cdepaola
Why not get Phillips Hue bulbs for those loads? There is a driver and you don't need multiple dimmers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ILoveC4
That is a good idea! You could wire them both up to a keypad dimmer, put Hue bulbs in, and use the buttons on the keypad to control the individual bulbs via the Hue driver. Sent from my Droid MAXX via Tapatalk.
