Can individual room volumes be adjusted while a music scene is Activated?

It appears that when a Music Scene is on and the rooms that are part of the Activation are on, if you go to the list of rooms and adjust the volume for a room up or down all of the rooms that are in that group have their volume adjusted.

I want to use this for bringing up whole house music at things like a party but often once the party starts the crowd noise may overwhelm the music in one room and its handy to be able to individually raise that room's volume.

Is that possible without having to deactivate/unlink those rooms?

Thanks!

I do like the Zones area for individual control and I often leave rooms "On" by leaving them in the list and muting/unmuting the speakers.

But take the scenario I was playing with, turning on music for entertaining across several room throughout the house...

Would you suggest a different tactic where I would say edit the behavior for a Custom button and instead of leveraging a Media Scene to setup the initial room volume, that I instead turn on the room in script and set the rooms' CURRENT_VOLUME variable to whatever the starting default should be and then repeat for the rest of the rooms?

Then I should have the same starting state as delivered by a Media Scene but the rooms are not joined and I can easily adjust the room volumes independently using the Zones button?

Thanks,

  Rick

I set default volumes, so the rooms always start at the right level. Is this is done in room properties in Composer.

Then I use the zones tab to quickly turn on all the zones that I won't on. If I want to tweak volume levels, from the zones tab or a local remote/touch screen you can adjust the room levels individually, or you can run them up and down all together. It's very easy to turn zones on/off too.

The zones page rocks for this.
