What is this EC100 energy controller touch screen?

It's a Control4-produced combination controller/touchscreen.

It was made for Control4's energy group, which has basically been discontinued.

It can't be used in a residential Control4 installation, and is slower than an HC300, with a touchscreen with a non-standard resolution (so it can't run Control4's Flash Navigator).

I have a couple of them here at home, they're not a bad little Linux box with a touchscreen, but there's not much you can do with them, as there's not much RAM / Flash.  I did manage to run Chumby (Flash) apps on them (as long as the Chumby app didn't require sound or input).  Chumby clocks seemed to work fine.

$300 is an astronomical price for that item.
