Setup two directors and have two completely different systems? Why would a strange thought like that even enter your mind? You realize the two couldn't communicate, right? Matt Lowe
Just Crazy Like that i guess. I have been working with another dealer to possibly send ip commands to each director to instigate certain actions between systems.

SMHarman
just hoping someone will have an older system and in need of replacements. Im half way tempted to run half my house 1.7 and the other 2.5 but idk What equipment do you have in the 1.7 half that you would have to replace in the move to 2.5? Your personal time or the dealer time to link this up is likely to equal the cost of buying the replacement devices on ebay!
ILoveC4
All to use a couple of crappy old remotes. SR250's are LEAPS AND BOUNDS ahead of those old things. Do what Paul Williams (from Control4) did with them in his YouTube video. Run them over with your car.
Matt Lowe
Well the fun part is i am a dealer so no cost in time other than mine own. I picked up a bunch of c4 stuff i'm just too cheap to buy remotes for the new rooms.

Matt Lowe
If you dont got it you dont got it. And this test has more applications than just this. Thinking about one home controlling another. kinda pointless i know when you can just switch which system to connect to but one less button to press. Matt Lowe
Yep that is the driver i was talking about. Just haven't had the time to employ it in my home been crazy busy with c4 installations that actually pay me haha. Since no one is interested in the remotes ill post up if i ever get around to test some situations .
mstafford388
I could see an application for that if it allowed you to connect two projects in different houses (obviously different networks). we have customers that have 2 and 3 houses with control4. It would be nice if they put one in vacation mode that it would then send commands to the beach house to get thermostats set, kick on the hot tub, etc. It doesn't look like that driver has the ability to connect projects in 2 separate houses. If anyone gets crazy and develops that let me know
