mthomtech
I'm running on 1.7.4 and picked up what was supposed to be some used embernet devices (dimmers/switches/2 and 6 buttons). Of course, I know the success rate of the used equipment is normally low, but the price was worth the risk. Out of the 9 devices I picked up, 5 were indeed still embernet and joined the project fine. I'm pretty sure the remaining 4 functioned properly, but would not identify on my project. When executing the identify sequence, I'd get flashing yellow for awhile, then quick red flashes, and back to solid green. I'm assuming that's them trying to identify on zigbee pro, but wanted to confirm with the experts. On another note, whoever installed these originally snipped the ground wires down and apparently didn't use them. Doesn't seem like a good thing to me. I'm no electrician, but can't figure out why anybody would do that. Oh - and if those 4 devices are on zigbee pro, I'm open to offers if anyone needs them - happy for them to go here versus ebay. 2 Dimmers, a 2-Button, and a 6-Button. All white. The keypads look to be the 2nd gen (C4-KP2-Z-WH and C4-KP6-Z-WH), which I thought were already zigbee pro. Thanks!
Cyknight
Solid Green when powered up means those or ZPro for sure.As for the ground.....no clue either, unless someone was impatient in taking them out and cut it off instead of unscrewing fromt he box?
