Can just a single button on a keypad be programmed to turn a room both off and on?  For example turn on three different light switches and turn on the TV and DirecTV.  Then press it again to turn it all off.  Or this would need to be on two different buttons?

Yes.  There is a toggle tick box for a variable.  Program a tap to flip the toggle.  One way is all OFF, the other activates a lighting scene and selects a video device (for example).

You would do a number variable.

 

Each button press would increment the variable +1

 

So if variable = 1 then turn on light a

variable = 2 then turn on light b

variable = 3 then turn off all lights then set variable to zero (basically this is the last button tap to reset the entire sequence)  Let me know if you need a more graphical example.

you can also do programing by the state of the room. 

or by the state of the lights too if you would like

if room on

  turn room off

play announcement in kids room
