ericscales
I have a driver ready for testing for Milight LED bulbs and strips. Essentially, it will work for any light that works with the Milight Wifi gateway. Some examples are: http://www.milight.com/shop/http://www.limitlessled.com/http://www.superbrightleds.comI've long wanted to replace my under cabinet lighting with LEDs and also thought it would be cool to have light strips in certain areas like in bookshelves, etc. I hate IR and finally found a solution that works using the Milight Wifi Controller (http://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/controllers/ldrf-tc4-wifi-led-controller-wifi-hub/1444/3367/) In my testing with light strips (I purchased through superbrightleds), the driver works and controls on/off, light level (brightness), light color and disco modes. It acts as a regular light driver in C4 with button bindings and all that. Let me know if anyone would like to alpha test. Once alpha is complete, I will post a beta for all to test. Info on hardware needed:RGBW Multizone controller - http://www.superbrig...ller/1799/4373/This is the box the LED light strips plug into and it communicates with the Wifi controller (see below)This is only if you're using light strips and not bulbsWifi Controller Box (examples):http://www.superbrig...-hub/1444/3367/http://www.limitless...eceiver-bridge/http://www.milight.c...light-wifi-box/This is the box that allows you to control the LED lights over WifiOther than the above two items, I think any LED strip should work, but here is what I purchased - http://www.superbrig...led-strip/1572/Essentially, the wires from the LED strip plug into the RGBW multi-zone controller (which is powered by a 12V to 24V source - it has inputs to wire this in direct and it has an input for an AC to DC adapter. Then the Wifi controller talks to the multi-zone controller to control the lights. If using bulbs such as Milight bulbs, Limitlessled bulbs, or Easybulb you just need the Wifi controller box. Jaffacree
I have new LED strip lights in my theater room, and i was looking to control them IR. Only because that is the only way i knew to control them. What all would i need to make this driver work? Will any lights work with the Wifi hub? I am very interested in this, just not sure what hardware i will need to make this work. Here's what I'm currently testing with: RGBW Multizone controller - http://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/controllers/smartphone-or-tablet-wifi-compatible-rgb+white-multi-zone-controller/1799/4373/This is the box the LED light strips plug into and it communicates with the Wifi controller (see below)Wifi Controller Box - http://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/controllers/ldrf-tc4-wifi-led-controller-wifi-hub/1444/3367/This is the box that allows you to control the LED lights over WifiOther than the above two items, I think any LED strip should work, but here is what I purchased - http://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/led-accent-lighting/high-power-rgbw-led-flexible-light-strip-rgb-white-led-strip/1572/Essentially, the wires from the LED strip plug into the RGBW multi-zone controller (which is powered by a 12V to 24V source - it has inputs to wire this in direct and it has an input for an AC to DC adapter. ericscales
Thanks for sending along. I'll check them out and see if I can find out if they are compatible with the wifi box and related controller.

drmark12pa
Has anyone tested this setup yet? I'm considering ordering RGB lighting strips from SuperBrightLEDs.com but need Control4 to control them as they will be on and outside Control4 light switch. http://www.superbrig...-con/1444/3367/ http://www.superbrig...ed-controllers/ http://www.superbrig...llers-decoders/
