id4
All,Anybody knows how to save and restore a room settings such as AV device selection and volume settings in the composer programming ?For example, on a doorbell press, I would like to save the settings of the current media that is playing and play my own door chime for few secs and then resume back to whatever media that was on before in any room. Thanks in advance. mrpugh
This question has actually been answered before. You make a fake speaker point in a fake room. When the doorbell is pressed, the fake room join the session in your real room. The real room leaves the session to play the doorbell noise. Then the real room joins the session in the fake room thus continuing the music. The fake room then leaves the session. lippavisual
It might be worth it to not waste your time on this. The 1.6 release has this feature built in, which is expected to come out this summer.Depending on how many rooms you have in your project, I can stress that it is alot of programming and can easily tax the system. MSI
Has anyone beta tested the next release ?It seems like there will be a lot of useful new features.I have a doorbell hooked up, but it does not work great. There is a long delay and we loose all the current room states, so we have disabled the feature.
