Posted May 29, 20169 yr I recently bought a used Wattbox WB-600-IPVCE-12. I used the utility to change IP address successfully. But I can't access online interface as previous owner changed username and password. Any suggestion on reset username and password to access web interface. Thanks
May 29, 20169 yr According to the manual, the same utility software you used to change the ip address can be used to do a factory reset. It doesn't give a procedure, though.

Thanks You use the firmware tool to update or refresh the firmware.
May 30, 20169 yr Do you mean that updating firmware would reset password? Why. Yes I do. It will also forget all settings and names of each outlet etc.
May 31, 20169 yr Author Unfortunately firmware did not work but thanks for the suggestion. However, I did get some help from SnapAV support and it worked. " If you don’t have the current credentials to the Wattbox you can reset the password by using /password.cgi (ex: HTTP://192.168.1.100/password.cgi ) after the IP address in your browser and using the master password from the sticker on the unit." Easy and obviously a good place to start :-) thanks for the help everyone.
