Posted August 25, 20168 yr I have dimmable halogens in all of my rooms, except the outside balcony. The switch on the wall is the same C4 zigbee switch I have in all rooms. I figured the outside werent dimming because they were florescent bulbs so I went to the store and bought some dimmable bulbs. I installed them and they still dont dim. Do I have to call my installer for this basic little job also.

August 25, 20168 yr Author How would I check? The switch is exactly the same physically as all the switches in my house that dim. Edit: i realize this sounds really dumb.
August 25, 20168 yr Community Expert Do you have composer express? Sent from my Pixel C using Tapatalk
August 25, 20168 yr Author Im on week 7 of my install. The guys are so unprofessional. I dont have anything.
August 25, 20168 yr Can you login to my.control4.com ? If they gave you a license for composer HE, you will be able to download it from there.. once you have that installed.. we can see if we can help you figure out if its a switch or a dimmer..
August 25, 20168 yr Author nope dont have a login yet. something about not having a valid license. god only knows. Down here in latin america Ive learned to not fret about anything and let eveything advance at their own pace. The only one rule to adhere by, is NEVER pay in advance.
August 25, 20168 yr Community Expert You can open the box and take switch out and get model #? Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
August 27, 20168 yr Much easier way to determine if it's a switch or dimmer. Switchs make an audible "click" when turning on/off. Dimmers do not.
