AtlantaSteven
Hi, I have 2 Ecobee thermostats integrated with Control4. I just heard last week that Ecobee now supports the use of its sensors by HomeKit (as motion detectors). Does anyone know whether this can be done with Control4 also? It would be great to be able to use my existing 4 Ecobee sensors within my Control4 system to sense motion and then to turn on certain lights, etc. Any info would be appreciated. thanks, Steve

They are leveraging a homekit API
cdepaola
You wouldn't want to use the Ecobee motion sensors for things like lights. They report at like 30 second intervals, so they don't work like typical motions that report almost immediately.
