Hi 👋 I am new to this forum and new to Corvette’s. Just bought my first 91 c4 convertible. I want to take off the catalytic converters and replace with a straight pipe. Now lm also not a mechanic!  So can I buy a bolt in  on line ? If so where is the best place and for the best price! Thanks all ad vice is welcomed

Sorry, wrong forum. This is for control4 automation. But I would search around for test pipes to delete the cat. Should bolt right in and no need for welding your own flanges if you are keeping stock headers and downpipes

LOL, car forum people.  In some respects, no different than some here.  "I want to rebuild my junker but I have no tools" vs. "I want to hook up my speaker points but I have no controller"

Yea, but that lucky guy can install his own test pipes. No dealer ;)

Lol great advice! There is no need to replace anything. I just want to change the sound. Increase the airflow, my state does not require cats on this year car. As I am an experienced fitter and fabricatior I ran out and got some glue to fit up some test pipes. Summit sells everything in A kit I just wanted some advice from experienced car enthusiasts? I logged in to the wrong forum without even a redirect thanks boys

Well, your state doesn't require a tailpipe emissions test but that doesn't mean you're off the hook.  If the engine puffs even a slight amount of burned oil out the back, they will flag you.  As far as changing the exhaust note, look into whether the Corvette guys are using active exhaust silencers and H or X pipes.  I use an H pipe to lower the note on my ride.  And, be prepared to spend on a CAI and a tune to go along with your "free'd-up" exhaust.  Simply uncorking the exhaust won't get you a thing.  CAIs without a tune won't do much more than about 10hp if it truly is larger than OE and drawing in only cold air.  CAI with a good tune should get you about 40 more HP (your results may vary).
