Triad 8-Zone power amp with Control 4 Logo

Hi,

 

We have just had a new 16 zone matrix and 8 zone amp installed.  I specified the triad 8-zone amp.  But on inspection the amp does not actually say Triad anywhere on it. It is branded with Control4.  

 

Is this correct?  Is there anyway of telling which is a triad and which is a c4 8 zone amp?

Triad amp will say TRIAD on the front.  Looks like you got the older C4 branded dumb amps maybe?

sounds like it!  This amp they have installed is 2u!  Presumably the Triad amp is far better then the C4?

Yes, the Triad amp is way better than the older Control4 one. If that was specified, I would ask for it to be exchanged.

It's only 1U, it wakes up faster, the sound quality is WAY better.

yea if you paid for the tirad get that one. or get a discount on the older discontinued amp
