Qmotion shades, C4, and Alexa

My C4 integrator installed three Qmotion roller shades and connected them to C4. I can open, close, schedule, etc. them with the controller.

I am using Amazon Alexa, also, to control my lighting. But for some reason, Alexa does not discover the Qmotion shades. All my other C4 devices are discovered.

Any ideas how I can use Alexa to control my shades?

Upgrade the alexa integration and use the voice scene driver.

Sorry for the delayed response. My computer was offline for a week.

Embarrassed to admit the cost for four (I forgot about one) and the controller was $4,800. Surely I could have done better . . .

Sorry, are these two things? Or are you saying that using Voice Scene IS the upgrade to Alexa integration?

Does my integrator have to activate Voice Scene or can I do it with HE?

If you had the original Alexa integration, it was upgraded less than a month ago for new features.  In your C4 skill for Alexa, there should be an upgrade button.  That upgrade button will upgrade to the latest version and will install the voice driver automatically.  Voice driver is what's used to create extra, non-default programming of anything you want.  You can use HE to create those Alexa commands with programming.

Yes, I've been using the Alexa C4 skill for my lights. I can't get Alexa to discover my shades. Are you saying I can use HE to somehow get Alexa to discover them?

You use the voice scene driver to program your shade control then.  Have you asked your dealer for help??
