Send command when ending DVD

My funky Toshiba TV (19LV505) I've built a driver for needs a TV/DVD command to enable selection of another input. It only needs this when exiting the DVD function. I thought about adding it to the drivers input macro, but it only needs it for exiting DVD and TV/DVD is a toggle and will screw up other inputs. In programming where can I add this command to pulse on event exit DVD or to pulse before Input select, but only after DVD exit?
