Error activating Composer Home Edition

I recently had to format my laptop, thus loosing all my applications.

Grabbed my composer 1.6 HE CD, installed it and it came up with that activation window. Entered the activation code written on the card that came with the CD, my email and password used on my.control4 site.

It brings me a window saying the specified user does not have permission to activate subscriptions. I first thought I was typing in the wrong password but after trying a different one, it gave me a login failure, thus that's not it. Double checked the activation code and that is right as well

I did the same thing back last year when I first installed composer and the activation went out ok.

Any ideas?
