Joshua114
We often get long power outages here which resets controllers and my digital audio out volume on the ea3 changes to 100% on reboot I’ve only noticed this issue when some of my clients had come back to me saying that the audio seems distorted!! It seems to revert back to 100% on reboot. is there a fix for this or a work around?
lippavisual
Sure, when project loads, set volume to xx. Most folks require the 100% volume because they use other devices to control the volume in their spaces.

We use the EA3 to play tune in radio through multiple amps in multiple rooms, so volume is not really an issue. But we find that by having the EA3 set to 100% the audio is not clear. lippavisual
Create a hidden room. Bind the audio output from the controller to a fake amp. Set controller audio as audio endpoint. Program as above at the room level.

Also, typically if the 100% output gain from the source sounds distorted then usually the gain on amplification is set too high. There are some free online tools or some paid apps that can help with finding unity gain.
