Create Media Monkey Playlist Then Import That Playlist into ComposerHE ?? (Using EA5)

Question

I saw a dealer's post that said: "There is another thread on here detailing how to import a library from mediamonkey and using the control4 plugin to convert it to a control4 xml file.  This will save time a lot of time in scanning and creating a new library in control4." I could not find that other thread.

On my NAS drive I have a 50K song library meticulously tagged with Media Monkey (MM). ComposerHE has scanned the same NAS drive volume and my C4 system with my new EA5, v.2 plays music from that NAS volume that MM organized and will also play from. With MM I have made extensive song playlists. It seems ComposerHE will import only xml playlists and MM cannot export or create xml playlists (MM creates m3u playlist files).

Does anyone know about a plugin to solve my problem? Some other way I can utilized MM's superb playlist-making ability and then utlize those playlists with C4?

Also, on Control4's website, the C4 User Guide for ComposerHE 3.1.3, page 35, says: "Other Media Managers: You can use other media managers, for example, iTunes, Windows Media Player, and Media Monkey to stream MP3s, WMAs, or MP4s." That seems to say Media Monkey can stream MP3 files through a C4 system. Does anyone know how to do that? If that literally is possible, I could stream music in my MM playlists throughout my house via my C4 system with my EA5 and 8-zone C4 amp.

The ComposerHE playlist making, sorting, duplicated-deletion capabilities are primitive at best.

Thanks.

Steve J
