Upgrade process for HC800 from OS2 to OS3 - Best upgrade path for this?

Hi all,

Firstly thanks for taking time and looking at this thread. I'll be looking to carry out an upgrade to a HC800 from OS2 to the new OS3.

I've taken a look around on C4forums but not come across anything that really details such an upgrade with any logical steps.

Seems simple enough to begin the upgrade via Composer and taking a back up of the project before hand.

Many thanks.

K

Depending on existing OS, it may force you to first go to 3.0.0, then on to the latest version but yep, you got the idea.

That's because updates are locked to ComposerPro, and thus dealers, so it's not a common question on here.

Thanks for your responses on this chaps - everything went well with the upgrade.

Couple of things were prompted due to some agents and old screens that were not going to work with OS3. Resolved this by deleting them from the project and kicked off the upgrade again.

Thanks for your input on this :)

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
