Bmwbball88
Does anyone have a recommendation for a 3.5mm to Bluetooth adapter I can use at night to listen to shows? Preferably one that plugs in so I don’t have to worry about battery. I looked on Amazon but it’s all cheap stuff that just doesn’t look very good
dinom
I bought this one a few months ago and it’s been working great. I use it via the optical input, but it also supports 3.5mm. And it does not use batteries, power is via USB (either from your TV or a small phone charger). Yes, it has a cheap look and feel, but so far has been rock solid. Note that unless you have those special loss latency ear buds, there will be a slight audio delay relative to the picture on the TV. BraydonH
This is basically the same thing but not cheap at all. (I have a pair myself) https://steelseries.com/gaming-headsets/arctis-pro-wireless The headphones are great, and the transmitter with the screen is awesome. Its uncompressed audio as well. And I cant preach how awesome the double battery thing is.

Bmwbball88
Thanks all. The steel series do look awesome but I have some Bose qc35 that still have a lot of life left in them. They transmitter was exactly what I was looking for.
ERDrPC
How would integrate something like this into my rack room? Meaning - have it plugged into my c4 matrix as an audio endpoint so I can be anywhere in my house watching a tv but listening to the sound thru the headphones?? I wonder what the range between the base and headphones are.
BraydonH
If your asking the range of the arctis pro wireless I will say that it is pretty good. My Computer room is on the upper floor of my house, and I can run downstairs to the kitchen on the main floor and the audio in the headphones is still playing fine. It will go about 40 ft through a few walls and floors before it starts to cut out. Its actually very good. But yea with the Arctis you could use optical output of one of your zones on the c4 matrix and use the headphones as you see fit in that zone. How to hook the headphones up to every zone..... You would also need an audio matrix and you would need to route the audio output of every video zone on the video matrix into the audio matrix then use the line-in on the arctis pro wireless. Then yes you could use them in any zone of the house. Hopefully you also have a 24x24 triad matrix or something in your setup as well. ERDrPC
That's my exact setup - video and audio matrices. Cool. I might pick one up to try.
