hunger Posted October 23, 2009 Share Posted October 23, 2009 I want to take an existing set of IR emitters connected to a Xantech 791-44 IR Amplified Connecting Block currently driven by an IR receiver and also drive those same IR emitters from an HC-300.Can I connect the IR output from an HC-300 to the IR IN and GND terminals on the Xantech? If so, the Xantech manual says that you can wire multiple IR receivers in parallel and connect them to the IR IN terminal. Can I connect other IR receivers in parallel with the Control4? If not, is it safe to connect an IR receiver to the IR RCVR jack and the Control4 to the IR IN and GND terminals? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
henniae Posted October 23, 2009 Share Posted October 23, 2009 You can hook the C4 IR output the the IR in and ground of the 791-44, I have done this many times.
