Smart windows installation

I am looking for a window installer for an installation of Smart Windows. Has anyone had the experience working with these types of installations/constructions?

Do traditional contractors installers/subcontractors have the potential skills mix needed for such an installation? (e.g., electric capabilities, home automation knowledge, etc.)

How many installers did they use  and how much did it cost?

Also, did you have any troubles integrating them with your smart home systems? Who did the integration for you?

I own an impact window company in south florida.  I can tell you 100% that most installation teams will not know anything about this.

Are you talking the windows themselves or do you want some type of opaque film you can automate?  We've done that a before and have it in our showroom, it's no harder than controlling the low voltage power to the film.  If you're talking actual windows you're going to need to coordinate your automation guy with your window guy.

What I meant is actually smart windows like SageGlass, View, Halio etc. Any experience with those or something similar?

No and you will be very hard pressed to find anyone that has the skillset to install those windows and the knowhow to tie them into an automation system.  Those will almost certainly need to be 2 different companies that will need to coordinate how to make it work.
