ricke
I had a room source set to Spotify and was streaming fine from my phone over Wi-Fi a few hours ago but noticed I had some Wi-Fi connectivity issues. I resolved those but somehow lost the stream. If I go to other devices like my Windows PC, I can play Spotify locally or cast it through the Spotify app to other devices fine like an Amazon Echo, but when I select the Control4 Spotify Connect node nothing happens, the streaming will not shift to that target. I'm streaming SiriusXM and Spotify through my HC800 controller and SiriusXM still streams fine. I rebooted the HC800 and that didn't solve anything either. The C4 Spotify Connect driver is simple and doesn't seem to have anything misconfigured and I've used it for ages. When I go through a navigator to the rooms I have set to listen to Spotify, they appear fine with the Spotify icon but no content playing. Any idea how I can clear this up? Its a real mystery why I suddenly can't get any Spotify app on phone, PC or web player to connect to the C4 Spotify device. ricke
Oddly after having this issue for several days, I just tried and was suddenly able to cast Spotify music from the Windows Spotify app to my Control4 Spotify Connect driver. Nothing had changed with any apps or networks. I wonder if there was some sort of incredibly long timeout that needed to happen with Spotify to resolve this. I could not cast music from any of my devices or the web player to Control4's Spotify driver. I'd love to know if there might have been a way to force a reset condition that would have cleared up this issue much faster. Rick
