Fan controller keypad

Just wondering how configurable the fan controller is for the multiple buttons. Is this configurable similar to the new keypad dimmer?  I have a fan controller installed in my house that has four single slot buttons and one double slot button.  I'm wondering if a volume up and down can be added similar to the keypad dimmers in place of one of the one slot positions.  Are the fan controllers basically as configurable as the newer keypad dimmers is what I'm asking....

Yes it's just as configurable. Yes volume can be added.

So the half up/down buttons can be used on this keypad?  I assume they're the same buttons as the keypad dimmer for all configurations?

No, the button layout for fan speed controller are fixed.  You can program the buttons to do whatever you want though.

I know the buttons can be removed to have customized engraving, but in other words, the configuration on a fan will always be 1 double button and 4 single buttons?  In regular Composer (not Pro) it does not appear to CONFIGURABLE but dealers appear to be able to RECONFIGURE it similarly to how keypad dimmers can be configured (1 slot, 2 slots, 3 slots, Down/Up,etc)

The layout will always be a double high button on the bottom and 4 single high buttons above that.  Dealers cannot change that.  You can change the functionality of the buttons, but not the layout of the buttons.
