eggzlot
It’s certainly interesting. When i moved into my house 7 years ago it had a SUPER poorly designed sprinkler system. Over the years we’ve redone the entire house and now are working on redoing the outside yard. Once that is done is as going to update what we currently have by adding more zones but almost wondering if something like this cheaper to help with a full redesign. Two concerns though 1) proprietary so if they go out of business you aren’t getting spare parts. A dumb sprinkler system can usually use parts from dozens of manufactures as the underground wiring, heads, drip lines, etc are all fairly interchangeable. I believe just the valves can be a bit proprietary to a brand but even those can be swapped fairly inexpensively if needed. 2) for a “Tech” company they do not seem to be connected to cloud weather services to get the latest updates and forecasts. If a Rachio or something could power this all the better but to stick a rain sensor on the house seems backwards to me (maybe I missed it but I saw rain sensors were included and didn’t see anything about connecting to weather services)

I agree with your point 1 but thought the video did reference a link to weather services (may be wrong)
