Compatible Kwikset deadbolts

We want to replace a deadbolt with a Kwikset model that matches our front door lock, which is on the Control4 network. I did not set the protocol for that lock, so I don't know whether ZWave or Zigbee was selected. Kwikset smart locks are now sold with the protocol preset, apparently. Does Control4 require one or the other, or does it not matter?

Native C4 integration would be zigbee. I think you need to get the zigbee card from a dealer.

For kwikset, you'd have to get the complete lock from a C4 dealer (no modules sold separately)
