urodave
My vudu has HDMI hookup to my theater and is hooked through component to the matrix for video distribution to 7 TV's. When someone is watching a movie in a different location (theater for example) and I want to turn it on in the kitchen it stops the movie. Is this a vudu or control4 issue? Anybody have any experience with this?
ILoveC4
Well, I would imagine the problem is the Vudu only being able to output one signal at a time.
CFUG
Solution- buy another Vudu box.
urodave
ouch.....the hole in my wallet has not quite recovered from the initial installation. Retrofitting a home with a finished basement..8 video zones, 8 speaker zones....We are loving it!
bhadams
Does this happen only when the theater is one of those two rooms, or in any configuration? It sound more like c4 is sending a command that is stopping playback.

jberger
I don't think HDMI and component are live at the same time, unless you add the upgrade license. Try moving the theater to component and it should work fine.
