Ajbarrister
I have a CONTROL4 C4-16AMP3-B. It was installed March of 2008. Recently it has been making a loud humming sound even when not in use. I have been told that the V3 no longer have fans in them. Is this a possible power supply problem? Also, the dealer that installed the same is no longer in business. How would I go about getting the same serviced? If I have to take the Amp out and ship it back I wont be able to have any sound on any TVs as all my TV's are tied into ceiling speakers that run trough a audio/video matrix switches. How would you fix this problem? Would Control4 send a new power supply for self installation?
jberger
You'll need to find a dealer in your area to service the unit, they can work with C4 to get it covered under warranty. It will most likely need to go back to C4 for service so maybe they can set you up with a loaner during the interm.
ILoveC4
I would call Control4's corporate office, or call another local dealer and explain. Actually, I would do both. Control4 won't send you a part for several reasons, the biggest one being a certified tech didn't diagnose the problem.
