Question

I am a Control4 user and do not have access to programming. I linked my 4sight account with Alexa and I’m trying to create a “This then That” automation to voice activate a Spotify or Tidal playlist to play(preferably on shuffle mode) in a particular room. When I start creating it and get to “select playlist” it doesn’t find the preset I created for Spotify or Tidal. Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong?

I use Composer rather than When Then but I suspect that the requirements are the same.  I cannot comment on Spotify as I don’t use Spotify.

In terms of Tidal, you need to go to Tidal within a C4 navigator and go to the playlists in Tidal.  You will see that there are 2 sets of playlists.  When you get to the playlist you are interested in (probably each and every one of your playlists) choose the option “Add to Library”.  This will make the playlist accessible in programming.  On the user interface, the playlist will now appear in both sets of playlists.
