born2dive
Hi, I just moved into a new house and had a full C4 system installed by the local pro. I have a EA5 + EA1 running everything. I have 96 devices (mostly switches and dimmers) throughout the house. I've had the system for about 6 weeks now and lighting scenes are very inconsistent: when I turn on the scene not all the loads turn on and when I turn it off, not all the loads turn off. This is true for all scenes in the system. I have to execute a scene more than once to get all the loads states to where they needs to be. Behavior is inconsistent using the C4 keypads, the iOS app, and when the scenes are triggered using the Scheduler agent. Individual load switches are working fine which probably means it is not an electric issue but rather a C4 hardware or programming issue. My dealer has been trying to troubleshoot but so far has not been able to resolve. He upgraded the firmware last week for everything in the house to the latest, I think v3.3, but still not resolved. I know this is probably a very broad question and hard to troubleshoot but any ideas on where to start or what to try? Thanks.

mujtaba.khokhar
all your problems point to zigbee as @msgreenfsaid try Ch25. note your mileage may vary. 96 devices - id be interested to see how your zigbee mesh has been done, could be part of the problem Muj
South Africa C4 user
Channel 25 as recommended above and make sure that you have at least 2 Zigbee networks for 96 devices (so you probably need another channel). I don’t know what the recommendation is for a second channel. Probably 24. Then you need to ensure that your 2 networks are sensibly located…
Cyknight
Channel 25 falls outside of normal wifi range so is always a good choice if you're having issues - but note that channel 25 has a lower output, so not always the best choice. 20 and 15 are on the furthest fringes of wifi channels 11/6 and 6/1 (the most common and normally what you SHOULD use for WiFi unless extensive channel testing tells you otherwise) so are good bets as well and have higher output. Of course if you know what WiFi channels are in use, you can find a zigbee/wifi overlap schematic with google easily enough
born2dive
Thanks all for your help. I will loop back with my pro and see if we can resolve this using a diff zigbee channel.
