IOS - Volume Control and Volume Slider

Recommended Posts

I’m on the latest version of the C4 IOS app, the latest OS 3.3 version on my controller. On an iPHone 12 pro running the latest version of iOS. I’m also experiencing this on iPad Mini 6 running the latest versions as well.

i noticed when in a remote that has a Volume + - button and the slider, using the Volume + - button does not change the number in the slider until you change app screens. Once you change off the controller screen the slider or number representation of the volume level will then display updated.

Thanks for reporting this. I'll get a bug written up on it and I'll reach out to you @Topfox with some additional information gather for the team to troubleshoot.

I just tracked down that bug Jonathan wrote up for the volume slider (CI-20790) and that fix is included in iOS version 322.29. This build just went to beta last Thursday and is scheduled for release to production on August 9th.

If you would like to join the iOS beta to test things early and provide feedback on whether it resolves your issue you can do so using the link below.

Thanks Darin!  I can confirm that this beta version does fix the volume slider and mute indicator issue.
