pshrop Posted August 17, 2022 Share Posted August 17, 2022 (edited) I can't get audio out of one of my Roku's consistently and I'm completely out of ideas as to how to solve it. To set the stage, I have 5 Rokus (and some other things) going into an LU1082D. I have that going out to my TVs, most of which run through AVRs, but one does not. The quiet Roku was plugged into input 1. When it went quiet, I was thinking it might be due to overuse, to I replaced it. The new one worked briefly (maybe once?), but it's now quiet too. I tried swapping out the HDMI cable, but that didn't do anything. I then swapped New Quiet Roku with the audible Roku in input 2 (without swapping the cables) and the New Quiet Roku now in input 2 is still quiet. The audible Roku that was initially in input 2 works in both input 1 and input 2. So then I checked the audio settings on New Quiet Roku and they are (still) identical to the audible Roku. New Quiet Roku doesn't play any sounds on the menu and none of the apps play sound. I then turned New Quiet Roku on in input 2 and checked all of my TVs to see if any of them produced sound. To my shock and confusion, one of our 5 TVs produces sound. Not sure it matters, but it happens to be 1 of the 4 that runs through an AVR. Any suggestions for how to get audio from the quiet Rokus out to all of my TVs consistently? I am completely stumped.
