Andrew luecke Posted September 12, 2022 Share Posted September 12, 2022 G'day, So, I helped write the Chowmain Shelly Driver. Was it the Dimmer dimmer (puck), or the Shelly Wall Dimmer? The Dimmer 2, there isn't really many gotchas. it should just be a case of wiring, and our driver supports a huge range of integration including button links for configurable keypads (with our latest driver, it should feel like the feedback is instant too). The wall dimmer is new, and the stock situation is seriously constrained. Shelly didn't even have enough to send us an engineering sample, so we have been unable to implement support thus far. Although, our code is ready for it to be implemented and is prepped to do so. It should be quick to implement once we have a unit for test. The Wall dimmer is a Shelly Gen 2 module, so should have some advantages over the Dimmer 2 (but, as mentioned, they're difficult to obtain).
