jevansoh Posted September 27, 2022 Share Posted September 27, 2022 When my T4 8" touch screen plays announcements, the volume is so low I have to put the speaker up to my ear to hear it. The volume is turned all the way up. When the same announcement file is used on my T3's, the volume is very loud, so it's not the file and it's not the volume. When the T4 plays other audio, like when doing an intercom session between it and another touchscreen or a Chime doorbell, the audio is loud and clear, so it's not a physical problem with the speakers in the T4. I've turned it all the way up for all the T3's and my one T4 but my T4 plays it so quietly that if I don't have the speaker up near my ear (it's the tabletop version) I can't hear it at all. It only does this on my one T4 and I have the volume all the way up, but Intercom works fine, and is very loud, so it is not the speakers themselves. Made sure volume was turned all the way up on the device and in Composer through the Announcement Agent, but volume is so low I have to put the tablet up to my ears to hear it. When communicating via Intercom, it's plenty loud, so it's not a problem with the device itself.
