And the Push to Talk.

WiFi has it's pros and cons.
You have to own the network, possibly setup exclusive SSIDs, consider AP placements, etc.
But, adding bedrooms and such with WiFi remotes, means less need for secondary processors.
And for houses without lighting mesh, WiFi is easier.

On the other hand, don't necessarily want to manage the WiFi on a basic smart remote setup, so hoping the SR260's around for a while.

I signed up for the SNAP One Premiere event that’s happening tomorrow. Looking forward to the new remote controls. I’m sure if these look good and perform well, they’ll be quite a few gently used NEEOs for sale at a good price, including mine 😄

I have an extensive C4 mesh of dimmers, keypads, etc through my house so I don't think of the Zigbee mesh requirement.  Doesn't Wifi also consume a lot more power than Zigbee?

I have a feeling there will be a zigbee and a wifi (just like today).  Upgraded version of the sr-260 zigbee (halo) and an upgraded neeo wifi (halo touch).  This is a guess, I have no inside knowledge.

Is there a stream of the presentation we can sign up for to watch or is it limited to CEDIA attendees?
