Kstrash Posted September 30, 2022 Share Posted September 30, 2022 I have 9 audio zones and all of them stopped working. Had our Control4 guy look at our system remotely. He said we probably need a new Audio Matrix Switch (ours is 5 years old). We currently have a control4 audio matrix c4-16zamsv3-b. I don't see a light on the front of the switch. Other than me physically turning it off and back on, is there any other way for me to determine if my switch has gone bad? The dealer said he'd get some prices and let me know what a new switch will cost. From what I've read on this forum, the control4 audio matrix c4-16zamsv3-b is no longer being made and the new one is now called the Triad system. GregCAMS Posted October 1, 2022 Share Posted October 1, 2022 fellow end user and had similar 18 months ago. Went with Triad 16 zone that has worked well. Your local dealer can give quote assuming they still make them. Otherwise would recommend taking a look at AVPro Edge. Just came out with a new Audio Matrix. Have their Video Matrix and it is excellent reliability and service. Plus a 10 year standard warranty on all their products.
