TundraSonic
One of our keypads has died. My wife said that a few days ago she felt a bit of static electricity when she pressed a button on it and it hasn't worked since. In cold climates like ours static electricity is an unavoidable a fact of life but rarely if ever causes problems. This is actually the first problem with anything electronic/electrical that I can remember over the past couple of decades. Have others experienced this? Any thoughts on the cause? Thanks,
C4 User
I would suggest power cycling the switch at the circuit panel? Should also try to reset the switch - but will need to search this forum for code to do so. I would also make sure that your switches have a proper ground. zaphod
Or first you could try rebooting the switch. 15 clicks. C4 User

Thanks, I’ve got one keypad that gets zapped by static in winter regularly (no idea why it is this one keypad only). I’ve tried everything to fix it (unsuccessfully). Fortunately the 15 tap reset fixes the issue every time.
