Kstrash
I had to have my audio matrix replaced last month. Our old one just stopped working and the Control4 guy said it was shot (not sure I believe him) but I paid $2,100 for a new one. Now my issue is all of my speakers-in the house and the landscape- sound crappy. We have 9 zones but he installed an 8 zone(?) matrix and combined 2 of our zones. Did the Control4 guy not hook something up right or do I now need new speakers/amplifier? Everything in the system was put in 6 years ago. This is all a foreign language to me. Matt Lowe
Control4 Controllers also have very high analog outputs and it will typical cause audio matrices to clip the audio and you can get really poor quality audio. I typically lower them to a point where I would want the maximum volume for the speakers.
