tommytrojan Posted December 15, 2022 Share Posted December 15, 2022 All, new C4 user and fan. Just bought house with ds2 doorstation and it works fine. The camera quality is terrible. I have separated the issues to be plastic cover on top of camera. When I removed the faceplate and took that black plastic out it was crystal clear. I have tried to clean using car headlight plastic but it still is not fully transparent and you can see degradation in quality of image especially at night. Is that part something you can purchase. Nighttime has improved but still looks like below. Is this normal without ambient light? I changed my wifi router and I can no longer get to my DS2 control panel in my web browser, seems like the IP address has changed. I am not very familiar with how to find the IP address of the DS2. I looked thru my routers device list and while I see most of my C4 components, the DS2 is not listed. Any ideas / pointers would be much appreciated.
