KushHalai
Hi everyone! The client is using a really old tv from their previous house. We have got it to work with all our sources apart from 1. The TV can only handle 1080i and 720p (NOT 1080p). When it is tackeld with a 1080p source it just flickers very quickly. As mentioned alll the sources are working but, when the EA5 is switched to it doesnt. I cant see the option in composer to change the resolution of the EA5. Please can someone help to find where this is. Or if there isn't then what gadget is able to downscale the video to 720p. Much appreciated if someone could help with this. Cyknight
There is no user (or dealer) way of force setting the HDMI output, it should be set automatically via EDID - there IS a way for tech support to force set to lower res only - or you're stuck getting a scaler or settable HDMI splitter/audio extractor. Matt Lowe
i would probably just recommend upgrading the tv. depending on what it is even a cheap tv may be a picture quality improvement.
Amr
TV cost is the lowest in any chain! Getting a 1080P TV is very affordable specially in US!
