Conrol4 Dimmer Switch Status LED's

Recommended Posts

All the switches in my house are configured as follows: dim blue status LED at bottom of switch when off (top status LED off), brighter blue status LED at top of switch when on (bottom status LED off).

I have one switch that is functioning as follows: both LEDs (top/bottom) are not illuminated when the light is off.  When the light is on, there is a turquoise colored LED at the top of the switch.

Summary: bottom status LED not on when light is off.  When light is on, top status LED is the wrong color.

How can I fix the configuration for this switch?

If you have Composer HE you can see if this is a setting in the switch itself - if it isn't it may be a setting in whatever device is bound to (ie it could be that it's doing a 3rd party lighting device, in which case it may be following that device's setting and you need to edit those) or it could be programming doing it (also changeable in ComposerHE.

That said, this is not something you can change using standard user interfaces

Found it.  I was lookin in the button properties, but did not realize there were more options at the bottom.  Had to scroll down.
